Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 24 (FBCMUD 24), in cooperation with the Fort Bend County Judge’s office, would like to advise residents that the 2020 census information invitation postcard is about to land at their homes and mailboxes.
The more residents that complete the 2020 Census, the better. State funding for projects that Fort Bend County would like to complete is contingent on the percentage of residents who participate in the 2020 Census. An undercount could cost Fort Bend County an estimated $2.3 billion in federal funding.
